I have unexplained infertility and have done one IUI, clomid and then did one IVF cycle that ended in a miscarriage at 8 weeks last year. My ddr advised me that I would have double the chance with donor eggs. We used an unknown donor and now I am almost 9 weeks pregnant!

I tried many rounds of clomid and IUI cycles and 3 IVF cycles without any success My doctor suggested donor egg and I got pregnant my first cycle with donor egg (which happened to be my middle sister) I gave birth to fraternal twins who are now 4 1/2 yrs old I am pregnant again, using my younger sister this time I am due Jan 2010 and I will be 41 when the new baby arrives I am very happy I used a donor egg because I wanted a child so much I wish you all the luck in the world and dont give up hope!

Recently found out my 1st cycle was a failure. After pulling myself together as best as possible, I had my post IVF appt. He stated our best option was to use donor eggs. Has anyone gone through this before?
