In my first IVF cycle, only one embryo was transferred and that failed. Now, I am getting ready for the frozen embryo transfer. I am told that the embryos may not survive thawing. Has anyone had success with the frozen embryo transfer? Please reply. Thank you.

I am in my first frozen embryo transfer cycle and am THRILLED to say that I am at 18 weeks, 4 days. In my research, I have found that success level is based largely on the quality of the embryo when it was preserved. I was extremely fortunate to have 3 very strong embryos that were eligible to be preserved. In the end, you must know that you have tremendous faith because you have taken on this most challenging journey. IVF is not for wimps. Period. I believe that if you want something bad enough and are willing to risk it all, you will ultimately attain your goal. God's blessings to you and your family. Remember: where there is faith, there is always hope.
