I'm so sorry ladies about your bfn's. Tanja- not all of your follicles will carry an egg especially with the homone meds I don't know why but the meds do that. Accupunture is a great idea at least 3 months prior to retreival and a few treatments after can't hurt either.

I just got my results back today from our first IVF and it was also negative. I am completely bummed. They retrieved 18 eggs and got 14 embyros but only 4 were good enough to keep. The planted 2 of them so we have two left. I am thinking about trying acupunture, maybe that will help. You are right, there are so many questions that can't be answered. I really was hoping to have a great Christmas present this year.

Hi,
I just got my results from our first IVF! It is negative and I'm real sad.
I have so many questions and no answers.
Maybe somebody can help here a little.
I had aprox. 16-18 follicles but they retrive just 3 eggs. Why is is like that?
Somebody had the same problem?
It would be nice to talk about it and maybe get some answers.
