Great advice! You are right. I should just ask my doctor directly! Thank you!

I seriously doubt that you have decreased your chances at all by having a little variance in time of day for doses of progesterone and estrogen. Sounds to me like you have been very compliant by taking it morning and evening without missing doses. If you're not sure which nurse to trust, then cut out the middle man (middle women probably) and ask your doctor-- at my clinic they will call you if you ask them to.

Hi All,
I was happy to find out about this site! I am on my second round of IVF and it will be very helpful to feel like I have people to talk to. This time we did a frozen embryo transfer. I had my transfer on 2/27/09. Two weeks prior to the transfer, I started taking estrogen (Estrace) twice a day, and then four days before the transfer I started taking Prometrium vaginal suppositories twice a day. I asked my nurse whether I needed to be sure to take my meds at the same time everyday (12 hours apart). She said that I did not need to take them at the same time each day b/c they weren't injectables. After my transfer I started questioning what my nurse told me. She is a new nurse. Today my previous nurse was filling in and I asked her the same question. She said that, yes, it is important to take the meds at the same time each day with only up to 30 minutes variance. During the entire three weeks that I've been taking meds, I have not been making sure that I take them at the same time. Many days I have been 1 1/2 hours off. My nurse said that wouldn't make or break my pregnancy, but I'm really worried now. I'm so afraid that I've ruined my chances of success this round. I have 8 more days until my first pregnancy test. Do any of you have any experience with this? Do you know if I could have ruined my chances?
Thank you so much!
Janel
