Shortly after, we miscarried. We went to a specialist after being advised by my Ob/Gyn and the specialist told us we did not need a surgery for the fibroids. Instead we started fertility treatments (IUI and finally IVF). After our first IVF cycle, we had only 2 viable embryos and these were implanted. We had another miscarriage in December 08. I am now resting before going back for another IVF cycle. I am optimistic and very hopeful that it will work this time, while being open to other options if the need arises. My philosophy is that if one has goals and dreams, one should work at them and remain hopeful until they are achieved.

Resuming your Cycle after a miscarriage

I have a question for all. On Jan 20th, I was told I had a molar pregnancy. On the 21st I had a D&C as they need to biopsy the tissue for cancer. Luckily it was not Molar/cancer....so I was told that I could try again on my next cycle. It has been over 4 weeks, and my cycle still has not kicked back in! I had HCG blood work on Feb 3rd and it was 38.Had more blood drawn today, but do not have the results yet.Any thoughts?
